Farley Creek is about 600m east, Guano Creek 550m west.;Large patch of xeric oak forest running along a ridgeline. The WMA was reportedly logged in 1987-1988 and there are sawn stumps in the area that probably date back to that event. Beech and tuliptree are more dominant down the north face. There is a canopy gap of approximately 20m squared where a large white oak snag stands.
