Location Narrative
From where Green Br. crosses Laurel Cr. Rd; follow ridge to rt. of creek @ 45 degrees NE, 1/4 mi. Plot is 30 ft. below ridge/ 50 m above creek. Directly below plot there's a steep drop off into Green Br.; Creek bends NW below plot.
Steep slope leading down to creek. Some deadfall pine near plot. Tsuga is fairly dominant in understory. -- Variation of the early successional stuff. More poplar in the bottom along the creek, more white pine and Gaylussacia near the ridgetop. Sparce understory with thick rhododendron on both slopes.
