Observation Narrative	Plot is located in pond S105-8, where T. Rawinski sampled GRAF084-088 in 1995. However, this plot does not intersect the 1995 transect. It is located on the east side of the pond where there is a "sub-basin" that is slightly higher than the main basin to the west. The pond is sparsely forested with Quercus phellos, with shrubs and herbs on the rim and the center devoid of vegetation. A large Quercus laurifolia overhangs the plot. Water marks on trees range from 15 to 50 cm above the ground surface.
