Observation Narrative	Site is part of an extensive upper beach / overwash flat that is accreting on the northeastern end of Hog Island. Vegetation varies from sparse to openly patchy and consists primarily of salt-tolerant dune graminoids and succulent forbs. The plot sample represents areas in which Panicum amarum ssp. amarum, Cyperus esculentus, and other graminoids are prevalent, although the succulent forbs Cakile edentula and Salsola kali ssp. kali are more diagnostic of the habitat.
