Observation Narrative	Sampled vegetation is part of a large upper beach / overwash flat that appears to be accreting at the south end of Wreck Island. The substrate consists of hummocks of constantly shifting sand subject to occasional high tides and storm surges. Vegetation is co-dominated by the succulent forbs Salsola kali ssp. kali and Cackile edentula. Several characteristic dune grasses also occur at low cover.
