This plot was re-monumented with 10 pieces of aluminum conduit and resampled over two days (July 29 2015 and Aug. 15 2014). Eight of the originial iron rebar were found. A new GPS location was taken at the 0 m stake (plot origin), which is adjacent to a 44 cm Loblolly Pine. From this stake, the 50 m centerline is at a 214 degree bearing and is marked every 10 m with conduit.
Since the plot was originally sampled, Loblolly was thinned and Maple and Gum were removed. The area has been burned approximately every other year and is part of stand approximately 40+ acres in size. Longleaf Pine seedlings were planted in March 2012 and the site has not been burn since that time.
