Small area withouty roads or trails managed by the State Park. South facing slopes have oak forest similar to this plot only younger, with more red and white oak. These areas have much more regeneration S2 & S1 by red oak. The north slopes are cool, mesic and rich, dominated by Liriodendron tulipfera and Laportea canadensis.;Somewhat mesic oak forest growing on a south aspect. There is very little shrub cover, likely due to deer browse. There is a large amount of down and decaying wood. Several old tip mounds occur in and around the plot.
