Floodplain below has sycamore-tuliptree forest. Most lower slopes in drain are successional tuliptree forest. Road access to drainage is gated seasonally.;Lower slope nose above junction of ephemeral tributary with perennial creek in drain bottom. Community is a mesophytic deciduous forest dominated by American beech with scattered walnut. Moderate cover but high diversity in herb layer. Large T3 beech was decapitated and has rotted bowl.
