The woodland is dominated by Quercus prinus and Pinus virginiana. Young pines and Junipers are being choked out by large oaks and red cedars.
Representativeness ? Small patch of dry "shale barren" woodland. Similar to plot BLUE.84. The "shale barren" communities found in the Bluestone Gorge, lack shale barren endemics. Additional notes, not found on data sheet, were added by BPS on 12/19/2005.
