The point is located just across the boundary at the head of Tony Hollow. The plateau above the point ca. 150 m SW, is a successional white pine tulip poplar forest on private land. Below the point ca. 50 m NE, in the bottom of the draw, the forest is dominated by hemlock and sweet birch over a dense patch of Rhododendron maximum (BLUE.87);The point is located in the head of a somewhat rich draw. The forest is dominated by Tilia americana and Tsuga canadensis. The forest is likely 2nd growth. The o'story trees are large with an avg dbh of 50 cm and an avg height of 27 m. The slope is covered with loose moss covered rocks.
