Uphill from here ca. 100m seems to get drier and more like acidic oak community.;Somewhat dry rich forest dominated by red oak - hickories - Aesculus in the over story and sugar maple - chinquapin oak in the under story. There is a fairly dense herb layer. The community is dissected by a jeep trail which begins on private land somewhere out of True and goes to the river across from Little Bluestone confluence.
