Above the plot 50 m is a large acid cliff band. The forest community above the cliff is dominated by Quercus alba and Fraxinus americana. Within the polygon there are many smaller cliff bands poking out of the hillside.;The slope here is very steep and shaley. There are several large canopy gaps in the polygon. These I believe were caused by small land slides.
Representativeness
Large patch of mixed meso forest. The overstory is dominated by Acer saccharum with notable coverages of Tilia americana and Carya cordiformis. Dense herbaceous layer with a large amount of Ageratina altissima. Sparse T3 and S1 layers.
