Circa <100m South West is plot BLUE.69. What lies beyond this point to the North East will probably be plot BLUE.71;Steep sloping forest dominated by Tsuga canadensis and a few scattered red and rock oaks. The stand looks even- aged with little or no T3 layer. There are several old decayed sawn stumps (barkless and lichen covered). A few large S1 Rhododendron maximum are scattered throughout the community. Little herbaceous cover and a few S2 shrubs are located in the plot.
