Small, county or community park with ridges developed for recreation, and ravines left for ATV abuse. Most forests are successional, but some lower slopes have older stands, possibly left as riparian buffer.;Lower slope above small creek, on convex nose with S aspect. Fine textured soils support a deciduous forest dominated by medium sized white oak and beech, with mesophytic trees in subcanopy. Spicebush is abundant in the shrub layer and black cohosh in the herb layer. A sawn stump and left over tops are near top of plot. Surficial rock fizzes with acid test - soils are limestone influenced.
