More uneven and the rock looks more broken up, there are several large boulders which have broken off the cliff. No signs of rock climbers. More vegetation and moss cover than last plot. Appears less stable than GARI.166. Some rocks on the cliff face look as if they could fall free. Large overhang with potential animal habitat. Litter and duff up to the base of the cliff.

lichen covered sandstone rock face; Cymophyllus fraseri found growing in a TSCA-LITU/RHMA forest below plot. Soil is sandy loam with a pH of 4.5. Associated plants: Tsuga canadensis, Liriodendron tulipifera, Betula lenta, Rhododendron maximum, Polystichum acrostichoides. Ten vegetative clumps found growing in a 4 square meter area.
