Landscape Narrative ? 25 m behind plot is gaswell rd, about 100 m away are plots GARI.74 and 75. Beautiful expanse of Hemlock forest for as far as the eye can see to the N, W and S.;Cool, very shaded Hemlock/New york fern forest. Trees are tall ~30 m, 25 m behind the plot is a gas well road. There is Rhododendron in the plot, but just outside the plot is a patch where Rhodo is scarce. No sign of adelgid. At gas well road there are lots of young S2 TSCA. This is probably a second or third growth forest. Tsuga seems to be dying, low branches. Many stumps and old snags. Picturesque forest.
