The plot overlooks Greenland Gap. A natural watergap partially protected by The Nature Conservancy. The plot is located along the Northern Rim. Below the plot to the south is a huge South facing talus slope woodland. Below this is Patterson Creek. Across the creek is a North facing talus slope. To the east just outside the water gap is a limestone quarry. Adjacent to the plot to the North is a xeric oak / heath forest.;Dry south facing clifftop. The rimrock occurrs at the top of the N side of a natural watergap carved out by Patterson Creek. The plot follows the narrow pine band which grows within 10-20 m of the rims edge.
