Row of sycamore rooted at base of cliffs, zone of water-willow and willow before open water. Upstream falls with numerous rock islands. Above cliffs are Juniperus rooted in benches, cliff tops. Hibiscus laevis is rooted among rocks in Justicia zone.;Bedrock cliffs and ledges just downstream from rapids formed by resistant geology crossing the river, cliffs are likely same lithology (Phyllite?). Lower ledges are flooded during high water. Cliffs are partially shaded by sycamores rooted below and have shrubs overhanging. Cliff is 2-8 m tall, w/ higher spots in the vicinity.
