Highly developed and modified landscape, highly fragmented, little or no connectivity; Kanawha River no longer in a natural flood regime.;Small canebrake on remnant natural stream levee along Campbell's Creek. This would historically have been connected with other patches on the Kanawhat River floodplain, but floodplain is now developed. Cane is growing under canopy of Acer negunda in filtered light, with few herb or shrub species. Invasives along edges. According to P.S.D district mgr., canebrake and flowers "just like at Cranberry Glades" used to extend into current beaver pond.
