This ridgetop has more presence by Prunus serotina than any other species. There are patches of red oak, red maple and sugar maple. On the west slope, the community stretches a fair distance towards Mill Creek, but with Fraxinus americana, too. The east slope toward Mowry Run I would assume would be characterized by red oak, but has the appearence of being recently cleared. Ferns dominate the herb layer in this plot.
