Landscape Narrative ? Haystack knob is to the East. There is a jeep trail that is about 40 m N. The cell phone tower on top of Green Knob can be seen from the jeep trail.;Cool, shady patch of red spruce-yellow birch with striped maple. Some young spruce around edges of the polygon with mixed deciduous and spruce within the polygon. The first tree cored was 160 years, showing possibility that this plot could contain old spruce.
