Spruce and northern hardwood forest surround the stand, which is extensive. Part of Cranberry backcountry on the Mon Forest. Tea Creek Mtn. trail (lightly used) runs 100m below plot.;Second growth northern hardwoods, with Red Spruce componet that is probably increasing over time. Beech are diseased and some are dying, opening the canopy for lush fern growth. Old decayed stumps on plot.

Similar to MONF.370 but this ridgetop northern hardwoods stand has Black Cherry componet and more Red Spruce. Plot was placed in high wind resource polygon.
