Area mapped as Greenbrier limestone, but this is probably downslope. Most forest in vicinity is successional tulip poplar with lots of small skid roads on the contours. Natural types are oak - hickory + NE Dry - Mesic oak system.;Colluvial boulder "river" in small cove. Like others of this land form observed, this has a domed cross section of boulders accumulated in the center of a concave erosional landform. Forest is dominated by widely scattered birch with basswood, hemlock, and oaks. Understory with abundant mosses, lichens, and vines covering refrigerator sized boulders.
