Wilderness Area with mostly deciduous 2nd growth northern hardwoods. See other plots from the outcrop. There are also small areas of rock face dominated by Umblicaria mamulata.;Conglomerate sandstone rock faces of crevices eroded from a high elevation outcrop. Walls are shaded and near vertical, protected from weather, light, and dramatic temperature fluctuations. Walls have high cover by crustose and dust lichens, with patch dominance of different species on opposing walls or different positions.
