Mostly younger secondary forest on limestone dominated by Fagus, Quercus rubra and Carya sp. with diverse herbaceous layer. Area is fragmented by old sklid trails with primitative roadway and telephone line right of way in bottom. Deer trails and evidence of browse are abundant.
