At this low slope level there are many different tree species present. As you climb up slope the dominant tree species becomes Quercus spp. and Carya spp.. Nearer to the top this area is dominated by Quercus prinus and other dry hilltop vegetation.;This plot is on a steep rocky slope. It is a lowlevel slope. Erosion is likely on this slope. There are lots of downed trees and dead wood in the area. Also many rocks are spread throughout on the ground.

This area is very diverse in its tree layer species. Many species are present including many Quercus spp., Carya spp, Ulmus, Fraxinus, Acer saccharum, etc...
