Most of this widened terrace on an inside bend of the river has been converted to campground and is dissected by roads, but about a half of it is reverting to floodplain forest. Backwater is disconected from river by road.;Early successional floodplain forest dominated by ash and elm with heavy cover by Senecio aureus in herb layer. Sycamore scattered in community but not present in plot. Small piles of sticks and hummocky microtopography are evidence of occassional to frequent low energy flooding. Exotic weeds are present but not dominant. Sign of old roads and and man disturbance are begining to fade.
