This is the dryest of the three plots on this area of the hillside (plots 27, 28, and 29). It is characterized by dry site vegetation including Quercus prinus, Quercus rubra, and Oxydendrum arboreum.;This plot is near the top of the hillside and is fairly dry. There are lots of large rocks and woody debris in the area.
Representativeness
This plot is at high slope level and represents a dry site community dominated by Quercus prinus and Quercus rubra. As you go downslope it is a little bit moister. Because of this and other factors the vegetation changes. Going downslope from plot #29
