The occurence is located in a low, cove like area surrounded on 3 sides by upland mixed forest and on the other side by a backed up small tributary.The main part of the Sandy Creek embayment lies ~500' to the south. The occurrence lies ~1200' to the east of the Ohio River just at the eastern edge of the flood plain.The edge of the woods has Verbesina alternifolia, Vernonia gigantea ssp. gigantea and Toxicodendron radicans. There are a few Cyperus, Cuscuta and Lycopus uniflorus plants scattered around the area. There are a few patches of unknown lily nearby.;The plot is less dense and high as plot 66.A.
