Grazing and canopy opening (dying fir) have created a very rich/diverse area with exotics, weedy herbs, thick herb. Many downed fir. Many standing dead fir. This area (the band along the creek) hit hard by fir death. Conifers remian: Tusga and Picea. Some deciduous.

Appears to have been grazed. Now heavy fir death from balsam woolly adelgid. Balsam woolly adelgid: alive trees appear healthy. Tops of canopy without gouting; nor are trees whtiewahsed. However, many snags.
