There are 2-3 such seepy channels in this small patch of land owned by Oglebay which come together downstream. Uplands on property (one side of road only) are Oak-Cherry old growth forest (see plot PRES.2).;Seepy streambed with an herbaceous community dominated by Symplocarpus and Glyceria with Chryosplenium americanum in stream itself. Entrenched streambed through soft shale. Stream seeps from ground upstream about 100 ft. from top of plot. Old and new overturned root wads from shallow rooting.
