Occurrence is on a SE-facing slope undercut by a dirt road beside Little. Fork. Around the stream to the SE on a flat and shallow slope is streamside vegetation and forest cover (Acer, Quercus , etc.). At the top of the ridge to the W is a gravel road and a flat summit with clearings for radio dishes. There is also a wooded draw over towards the west (below the dishes) that has a mixed pine-hardwood cover.;There are some areas where the tree canopy is not so high and cover is more sparse. There are also areas where deciduous litter covers a large portion of the ground. There are rocky places which have more Carex sp. cover.
Representativeness
This plot contains some rocky places as well as a bit of the high-litter area. It is quite representative. Quercus rubra is also scattereed throughout the subcanopy. Arabis serotina was found in the plot, throughout the slope, and at the top of the rid
