Large herbaceous portionof the wetland which stretches side to side with Carex stricta-C. atlantica communities outside and this one in the middle. Shrub thickets north and south.;One of the areas of the wetland that have deep standing water. This place is adjacent to Meadow Run which spills over into this plot and continues S creating a large pool. These communities are created by back up of water from former beaver dams. Like the other plot, shrub thickets pick up almost immediately downstream.
Representativeness
Most inundated section locally with almost monoculture of Dulichium arundinaceum.
