To the west is Meadow Run. North is a recovering wildlife plot.;This area is similar to forests near Meadow Run in terms of herbaceous species, but due to rocky substrate which favors Betula lenta and Acer rubrum. There are some indicators of a more palustrine regime such as royal fern and Carex stricta which makes me wonder how frequently this place is inundated. There is no running water or standing water. Browsing here seems unusually low.
Representativeness
Palustrine forest in a slightly sloping boulderfield.
