This is a draw at the very eastern edge of the WMA. The slopes above are very rocky with a lot of Quercus (prinus-rubra) and Betula.;This is a cool NW facing colluvial slope similar to those on the other side of the WMA. The substrate is extremely rocky and there is suprisingly no birch, but there is paw paw and Magnolia. Not as many ground layer species as other places. This exmaple is also not as large as others. Canopy is very well developed and tall.
