This plot is located in a large cove. The cove, despite its cool aspect is mostly dominated by red oak with some mesic species.;This is a small seep with species similar to those found in the wetland except groundwater is the soul source of inundation. The community is thrice as the plot and begins where the slope breaks and becomes more flat. Microstegium is very bad here. Surprisingly little browse. The immediate zone below the slope break is the most inundated and become less so downslope and has higher cover of Osmunda.
Representativeness
This is a seep which is fairly well represented with the exception that Microstegium has a high cover, but unavoidable.
