Downslope becomes richer and richer, less steep and eventually is a beautiful limestone forest with Delphinium exaltatum. Private lands downslope logged more recently up to property line.;Steep spur ridge nose on NW flank of mountain in R & V. WMA property line runs straight up hill and there is a broad line of old trees with fire scars. Younger trees predominate in the bowls on either side of the line with scattered larger trees. Forest canopy dominated by Red Oak, Chestnut Oak with Maples dominant in subcanopy and shrub layers.
