State Park with developed areas in a matrix of deer chewed, little visited deciduous and hemlock - hardwood forests. Some patches are older second growth with fencelines.;Ridgeline with saddles and knobs. West flank seems warmer and less disturbed compared to east flank. Tulip tree cnopies are also reduced by blight or frost.
