See plots USFS.21,23. The transect bearing is 290 degrees. Starts in a Quercus rubra, Tilia americana and Tulip Poplar forest. The transect was a steep slope with dense rock cover on the ground. The majority of the ground cover was Blue and Black Cohosh.;High percentage of forb cover. Picked up Acer negundo. Most of theoverstory was Black Locust and Tulip Poplar. The understory was mostly wild crabapple.
