Typical mixed mesophytic. After chain 30 reached a broad ridgetop. Thick Rhododendron maximum cover under Betula alleghaniensis. Several ferny hemlock openings in Rhododendron. Walked along edge of wetland for chains 50-70.;Windthrow aspect 64 degrees. The edge of the plot is Rhododendron maximum the center is Tsuga canadensis, Picea rubens, Betula alleghaniensis, no forbs dense understory.
