State park with bottoms developed for recreation. Uplands are even aged secondary forests, including CCC pine plantations. Uphill on ridge shoulder is oak/huckleberry (WASP.3).;Southeast facing slope off side ridge above a headwater drain. Community is a deciduous forest dominated by chestnut oak with other oaks and hickories. Herb layer has moderate cover by black snakeroot but otherwise low diversity, probably due to heavy deer browse.
