BLM parcels in Butte County, north and east of Paradise: This is a small, dense stand on a N facing slope, dominated by Pseudotsuga menziesii and Quercus kelloggii. The understory is mostly open with scattered low Umbellularia californica, and Toxicodendron diversilobum. Pseudotsuga menziesii, Quercus chrysolepis, and Quercus kelloggii seedlings are common. The litter layer is thick. Management on this property is unknown, and there is no evidence of disturbance. The soil parent material is unknown.
