Widely spaced Quercus douglasii along a terrace, above a creek, with patchy places of regeneration as evidenced by smaller oaks. The understory consists of tall herbaceous vegetation dominated by native grasses. There are some small Quercus wislizeni and some large Pinus sabiniana present. There is a road on the border of the stand and trails throughout the stand.
