Multi-stemmed canyon live oak over Arctostaphylos viscida. There are also a few scattered ponderosa pines, black oaks, and interior live oaks in the overstory. The herb layer is extremely sparse. There are signs of not-so-recent intense fire in the stand including the burnt short stumps of manzanitas.
