Open clearing along the ridgeline road running east to west through the large BLM parcel in Amador County. The stand is dominated by Harding grass and also has many weedy non-natives. There are wetland plants such as Rubus discolor nearby, but this appears to be a dry ridgetop. It is hard to figure out where the water is coming from, as there is no higher ground nearby. The assessment of this stand excludes the Eriodictyon intrusions at the edges.
