| Location Narrative |
Cow Creek Ranch is a Shasta Land Trust easement property. Oak woodland/savannah on a flat plateau (Clover Flat) in the northern portion of the Cow Creek Ranch. The plateau has somewhat of a hummock and swale micro topography with the hummocks being dominated by annual grasses and the swales having a more native vernally moist herbaceous community (see COWRCH 11). The woodland was at sometime perhaps recently "thinned out".
