Cow Creek Ranch is a Shasta Land Trust easement property. This survey describes the drying margin of the pond described in COWRCH25. This stand hosts many vernal pool species including Mimulus tricolor, Gratiola ebracteata, and Downingia cuspidata. The vegetation changes close to the pond margin with Isoetes howellii becoming more dominant.
