Location Narrative
South Don Pedro Reservoir, Tuolumne County: Steep north-facing, species-diverse stand of interior live oak just above a perennial creek with components of creek vegetation coming into the stand (i.e., Aesculus, Fraxinus, and Vitis). The shrub understory is heterogeneous and multi-stemmed. The Quercus wislizeni is also multi-aged and multi-storied. The stand seems to be regenerating. There are some scattered Pinus sabiniana and Quercus douglasii throughout the stand.
