Location Narrative ? Various private and public parcels near San Andreas: Tall Salix laevigata stand along east bank of creek on wide floodplain. Occasional Populus fremontii with grassy understory containing poison hemlock, Rubus discolor, mugwort, and Hirschfeldia. This side of creek does not appear to be grazed (opposite side of creek is grazed). Several decadent Salix. Outer edges have open grassy patches, transitioning to denser cover close to water.
