Location Narrative ? Leininger Ranch is an easement of The Nature Conservancy. A relatively dense stand of even-aged blue oak on a steep W-facing slope. The understory is mostly open with only a few scattered junipers, wedgeleaf ceanothus, or buckeye. The herb layer is relatively open as well with large patches of Trifolium ciliolatum and other natives, though otherwise mostly non-native grasses and forbs.
